How To Apply For A Massachusetts Public Service Scholarhsip
For your initial award, you must complete the First-Time Applicant Public Service Grant Application and return it by May 1 of your first year of school. In addition, you must fill out the Public Service Grant Program Renewal Application each year you wish you receive the scholarship.

Idaho Veterans Support Fund
The Veterans Support Fund was set up by Idaho Statue, Section 65-209, Idaho Code, to subsidize projects to help veterans of the military of the United States. Veterans Support Funds are not given to help the essential requirements of individual veterans or their families. Virginia Military Survivors And Dependents Education Program
The VMSDEPprovides education benefits to spouses and children of military service members killed, missing in action, taken prisoner, or who became at least 90 percent disabled as a result of military service in an armed conflict. The purpose of VMSDEP is to provide undergraduate or other postsecondary education to eligible participants by providing a waiver of tuition and all required fees at any public institution of higher education or other public accredited postsecondary institution that grants a degree, diploma, or certificate in the Commonwealth of Virginia. Special Restorative Training And Special Vocational Training
The VA may approve Special Restorative Training, if needed, to help the dependents of Chapter 35 benefit recipients to overcome or lessen the effects of a physical or mental disability so you can work toward your educational or training goal. Alternatively, the VA may approve Special Vocational Training to help dependents overcome a physical or mental disability.
Va Home Loan Funding Fee Waiver For Disabled Veterans
Disabled Veterans with a VA disability rating of 10% or higher qualify for a waiver of the VA home loan funding fee. Effective January 1, 2020, VA home loan funding fees range from 1.4% to 3.6% of the total loan amount . For example, lets say a first-time veteran home buyer purchases a $300,000 home and makes a down payment of $15,000 . Youll pay a VA funding fee of $4,702.50, or 1.65% of the $285,000 loan amount. Veterans Affairs Dependent Assistance
Dependents of veterans who were permanently disabled or died in the line of duty are eligible for up to 45 months of education benefits or up to 81 months if they use the scholarship in conjunction with other programs. The scholarship is also available to children of deceased veterans who contracted a condition in the military or soldiers detained by foreign governments. Applicants generally must be between 18 and 26 years old, although the program can make exceptions. You cant receive the benefit if you serve in the military. There Are Two Main Va Programs Offering Education Assistance To Survivors And Dependents Of Veterans:
- The Survivors’ and Dependents’ Educational Assistance Program offers education and training opportunities to eligible dependents of veterans. For a dependent to qualify, eligibility is based on veterans who are permanently and totally disabled due to a service-related condition, or who died while on active duty or as a result of a service-related condition.
- The Marine Gunnery Sergeant John David Fry Scholarship is available for children and spouses of service members who died in the line of duty after September 10, 2001.

Military Commanders Scholarship Fund
Every year, the New York chapter of the American Logistics Association awards scholarships to children of select active duty, reserve, National Guard or retired members of the United States military.
How to qualify: Students must plan to enroll full-time in a two- or four-year college or university. Awards are only for undergraduates and require a 3.5 minimum GPA. Selections are made based on academic achievement, community leadership, extracurricular participation, work experience, outside appraisal, financial need and family circumstances.

Disabled veterans with a current VA disability rating of 30% or higher are eligible for an increase in monthly VA disability compensation to help support your family.
