You May Be Able To Apply For A Replacement Card Online

You can use a to apply for a replacement Social Security card online if you:

• Are a U.S. citizen age 18 or older with a U.S. mailing address ;
• Are not requesting a name change or any other change to your card; and
• Have a drivers license or state-issued identification card from one of the many participating states or the District of Columbia.

Bank of America is sending chip cards to new claimants starting July 25, 2021. If you already have a debit card, it will be replaced with a chip card when it expires.

If your disability is temporary or subject to change and your accessible parking permit has expired, your healthcare practitioner must re-certify your health condition before you can apply for another permit. This means you must complete Part A of the application form and a healthcare practitioner must complete Part B of the application form.
