Serving Clark County Veterans Since 2011

Clark County Veterans Assistance Center was born from many conversations by local Vietnam Veterans who said, There oughta be a place Through the dedication of countless volunteered hours, the center opened in 2011 as a 501 c3 non-profit organization. The mission was, and remains that, of providing a welcome and safe environment to assist Veterans and their families in obtaining benefits, services, and resources to meet basic needs.

CCVAC was recently nominated for the Nonprofit Network of Southwest Washingtons Excellence in Volunteer Program Award. The Center went from serving roughly 800 Veterans its first year to 3,000 Veterans last year with a projection of even more Veterans served in 2018.

County Veterans Service Office

The Clark County Veterans Service Office counsels, advises and assists military service veterans, veterans survivors and their dependents in obtaining benefits provided for them by County, State and Federal laws. Our staff receives training from the State of Indiana through the Indiana Department of Veteran Affairs and accreditation from the federal Veterans Administration .

The Clark County Veterans Assistance Center aims at serving the veterans with dignity, integrity, and quality services to uphold their esteem and sense of belonging. Clark County Veterans Assistance Center carries out the following functions in discharging its mandate:

  • Clark County Veterans Assistance Center provides medical care services to eligible veterans within the Vancouver
  • The Clark County Veterans Assistance Center provides support services such as rehabilitation, disability compensation, and education assistance.
  • The Clark County Veterans Assistance Center provides insurance cover services such as life insurance, burial benefits, and home loans.

Our goal at the Clark County Veterans Assistance Center is to help and honor all of the veterans. As a non-profit organization, we could not provide the services that we offer our Veterans without you.
