SeaWorld Orlando is saying THANK YOU to US Veterans and families. Now through July 4, 2018, U.S. veterans and up to three guests may enjoy free admission to SeaWorld Orlando and Busch Gardens Tampa Bay. This offer is also good at other SeaWorld Parks & Entertainment properties across the U.S. This is just another offer to join the ongoing SeaWorld Waves of Honor program that offers complimentary admission to any U.S. active duty military, activated or drilling reservist, or National Guardsman once per year, for the military personnel and as many as three direct dependents.
The men and women who serve this country in the U.S. Armed Services are incredibly important, and were proud to extend our gratitude to these brave men and women and their families, said John Reilly, interim CEO of SeaWorld Parks and Entertainment. We hope this invitation to all veterans allows them to make incredible memories with their families at our parks.
The Waves of Honor program was started by SeaWorld Parks & Entertainment in 2005. Since its inception, more than 9 million active military, veterans and their families have visited the parks for free, which represents an estimated value of $300 million.

Free Admission To Seaworld Is Part Of Waves Of Honor Program
SAN ANTONIO SeaWorld parks, including the one in San Antonio, are offering free admission to active-duty U.S. military members, veterans and their families.
Qualifying military members and up to three dependents can each get a complimentary single-day ticket online at WavesofHonor.com through May 15.
San Antonio is proud to be home to a large population of active-duty service members and veterans of the US Armed Forces, said Vice President of Military Affairs and Leadership at the San Antonio Chamber of Commerce Lori Stinson.
Service members and their direct dependents must have a valid active military ID to participate in the offer.
Tickets will be given to qualifying military members and their families after they register online and the tickets must be redeemed by July 10.
SeaWorld has been a long-standing supporter of those who have served, allowing active-duty members and now veterans free admission so they can visit the park, learn about animals, and have some time with family, said Stinson.
SeaWorld already offers complimentary admission to active duty military members, activated or drilling reservists, and National Guardsman and up to three dependents every year.
Additional discounts and offers are available for active military and veterans through MWR and ITT offices on U.S. military bases and online at WavesofHonor.com. These offers are available year-round and may differ by each park.

Waves Of Honor Program Eligibility
The Waves of Honor Program has 2 very different eligibility categories:
- What they call Active Duty , this includes: Army, Navy, Marines, Air Force, Coast Guard:
- U.S. Active Duty
*Former service members must provide proof of service in order to participate
Eligibility verification and ticket registration is all done online through the Waves of Honor website.
Note all status verification is done through Troop ID. Troop ID is a credential issued by ID.me that allows verified members of the military community to access programs intended exclusively for members of the military community.
Spouses of Deployed Members must verify TroopID using the members information.

What Are The Restrictions
SeaWorlds Waves of Honor program does have a few restrictions.
First, the free tickets need to be ordered online.
No military discount or free tickets will be given at the SeaWorld gate if you buy your tickets in person.
The program is only available for the SeaWorld San Diego location. It will not work for Aquatica San Diego, or SeaWorld locations in other cities.
The offer does not include admission to SeaWorlds parks and entertainment.
The program cannot be used with any additional discounts.
Waves of Honor can only be used during its advertised dates. There are some times of the year that the program is not available.
The dates that Waves of Honor runs are always listed and up to date on the SeaWorld website.
If you want to receive free tickets, you will need to ensure that your trip will fall into these specified dates.
You can check on the available dates here.
The tickets will have your name on them and they can only be used by you.
If you are not present while they are being used and if you do not present a military ID that shows the same name, the tickets will not be considered valid.
The free tickets are non-transferable and non-refundable. You cannot take your free tickets and then sell them for a profit.
The Waves of Honor program can only be used once per calendar year per individual military member.

Ticket And Travel Office Discounted Tickets
If youre planning on using your Waves of Honor free tickets at SeaWorld with guests other than your direct dependents, consider getting their tickets from your local bases Ticket and Travel Office.
These tickets are not free, but they are cheaper than the ones you will find at the SeaWorld gate.
To buy tickets from your local base:
Step 1: Call ahead of time to make sure your base has SeaWorld tickets in stock
Step 2: Go to your local Ticket and Travel Office
Step 3: Purchase tickets
Step 4: Use tickets for admission at the SeaWorld gate
Even though these tickets are not free, they are a great way to save some money on the price of admission for your spouse, additional dependents, or friends that go to the attraction with you.

Waves Of Honor Program History
Since 2005 Anheuser-Busch has offered free admission to SeaWorld Orlando, Tampas Bush Gardens, and other Busch Theme Parks through their Heroes Salute program. In 2013 Heroes Salute changed to the SeaWorld Parks Waves of Honor Program. Anheuser-Busch hasnt owned the theme parks since 2009, but they have maintained their dedication to the military by providing a complimentary free admission on a single-day ticket each year for those in the military community to enjoy.

What Is The Waves Of Honor Military Discount
For Active military, National Guard, and Reserve, there is free admission one time each year for up to 3 dependents at participating parks. Additional park admissions can be purchased at a 50% discount for eligible parties.
At this time, the only non-participating parks in terms of free admission are Water Parks and Discovery Cove.
