Chapter 31 Vocational Rehabilitation And Employment Program
The Chapter 31 Vocational Rehabilitation and Employment program, also known as Voc Rehab, is designed to assist veterans with service-connected disabilities to obtain suitable employment and/or achieve independent living goals. Disabled Veterans Life Insurance Program
The Disabled Veterans Life Insurance program is a VA program that provides insurance for disabled veterans who have a service-connected disability rating from 0% to 100%. The basic program, commonly referred to as RH Insurance, insures eligible Veterans for up to $10,000 of coverage. Dependents Educational Assistance Benefits For 100% Disabled Veterans
The VA Chapter 35 benefits program, also called Dependents Educational Assistance , provides education benefits and/or special restorative training for eligible dependents and survivors of certain veterans and service members. Eligible dependents can receive up to 36 or 45 months of full-time or equivalent benefits for any of the following: College, technical, or vocational degree programs, independent study, online distance learning, or correspondence courses, high school diploma or GED programs, educational and career counseling programs, apprenticeships, on-the-job training, and/or career training certificate courses. Honorary High School Diploma

The school board of a local school district may award an honorary high school diploma in a form prescribed and supplied to school districts by the State Board of Education to Veterans of World War II, the Korean Conflict and the Vietnam Conflict who were unable to complete their education due to their military service. The honorary diploma is available to any honorably discharged Veterans residing in Mississippi who was scheduled to graduate between 1941 and 1955 but was inducted into military service before completing the necessary graduation requirements, or was scheduled to graduate between 1963 and 1973 but volunteered for military service and received the Vietnam Service Ribbon. Family members of deceased eligible Veterans may apply for the diploma to be awarded posthumously. Miss.

North Dakota Dependent Tuition Waiver
Eligible dependents of certain disabled veterans can obtain a bachelors degree or certificate of completion free of tuition and fee charges at any North Dakota state-supported institution of higher education or technical or vocational school.
The student must be the dependent of a resident veteran who is 100% disabled as a result of service-connected causes, who was killed in action or died from wounds or other service-connected causes, or who died from service-connected disabilities.
The diploma must be earned within a 45-month or 10-semester period or its equivalent.
Arizona Veteran Recreation Benefits
Hunting and Fishing Licenses
100% service-connected disabled veterans who have been a resident of the state of Arizona for at least 12 months are eligible for a hunting/fishing combo license at no cost to them.
How to obtain a Disabled Veterans License:
Visit your local Arizona Game and Fish Department office. Bring a copy of your VA benefits letter, or you may complete the application form below and include a copy of your VA benefits letter that states 100% disabled, permanent and total, and mail them to: Arizona Game and Fish Department, Attn: Front counter, 5000 W. Carefree Highway, Phoenix, AZ 85086. *Note: A paper license will be issued free of charge. A plastic card license may be purchased for $4. Include a check or money order if you are applying by mail.

Va Travel Pay And Reimbursement
VA Travel Pay Reimbursement is for regular transportation, such as, car or POV, plane, train, bus, taxi, or light rail. You may be eligible for this reimbursement if youre traveling for care at a VA health facility or for VA-approved care at a facility in your community, and at least one of the below descriptions is true for you. What Do I Need To Know About The Va And Social Security Programs
Both Social Security and VA pay disability benefits. However, their programs, processes, and criteria for receiving benefits are very different.
A VA compensation rating of 100% Permanent and Total does not guarantee that you will receive Social Security disability benefits. To be approved for Social Security benefits, you must meet Social Securitys definition of disability. To be found disabled:
- You must be unable to do substantial work because of your medical condition and
- Your medical condition must have lasted, or be expected to last, at least one year or to result in death.

Arizona Veteran Employment Benefits
Veterans receive hiring preferences for state, county, or city employment positions.
Requirements: Veteran served 6+ months and has an honorable discharge.
Veterans that pass an employment examination will receive 5 additional points on their certification score.
