TAMPA, Fla. – Busch Gardens Tampa Bay and SeaWorld Orlando are thanking military members and veterans for their service by offering free one-day admission to their theme parks.

The central Florida theme parks, which are both operated by SeaWorld Parks and Entertainment, are offering complimentary tickets through their “Waves of Honor” program. The program gives free one-day admission to active-duty U.S. military personnel and up to three guests.

For a limited time, veterans also qualify for the free ticket offer, and can bring up to three guests as well.

Veterans who wish to take advantage of the offer must first register online. Tickets must be redeemed through the Busch Gardens or SeaWorld websites. Registration ends May 15, 2022, and the free tickets for veterans and their guests must be used before July 10, 2022.

We often miss all of the discounts and free stuff available to us that doesn’t involve free meals and discounts on Veteran’s Day. A lot of vets may know about this program already. However, I have run into too many vets that don’t so I figured I’d use this platform to pass this little nugget of info along.

Registration is currently open now and it ends May 15, 2022, the catch is you have to use your tickets before July 10, 2022. Click the link of choice.

STEP 1: You must verify through ID.Me. The SeaWorld or Busch Gardens website will tell you that you need a Veterans ID or your DD214 and your driver’s license. You will need to sign up for an account through ID.me so just follow the registration info and you’re good to go!

Step 2: After you register it should take you back to the site of choice. If not just go back to the link refresh the page and sign-in on the ID.me tab and it should immediately take you to the tickets page. .

Step 3: Select your number of passes so you put in for or however any guess you have which in our case is 4. Then hit add to cart.

JAMES CITY-In honor of Military Appreciation week, Busch Gardens Williamsburg will off free admission to the park to active-duty members of the military from Monday, June 27 through Monday, July 4.

The special also includes discounted admission for military families as well as discounts on dining and shopping for those who present a valid military ID. In addition, U.S. veterans and their families are invited to the theme park for a reduced admission fee.

We are proud to honor the brave men and women who protect and serve our country, said Kevin Lembke, president of Busch Gardens Williamsburg, in a press release. Our community has a strong presence of military service members, and we are excited to show our appreciation during this all-new event. Is It Worth Going To Busch Gardens Or Seaworld

Yes! Busch Gardens and Seaworld are known for their famous Animal Encounters and thrilling top Roller coasters in the World. Water Parks like Aquatica are famous for their large and expansive pools and slides. Moreover, the new Spark firework show Spectacular at Busch Gardens Tampa is sure to light up the night. So all active members and Veterans should maybe look into this offer and plan a day at least once a year!

In addition, it will likely be worth it as long as you go on a weekday or when it isnt too busy. Keep that in mind when choosing your dates that you go. The busier months are middle of summer and end of November and December. It probably is best to go during the cooler months but if you like the water rides or parks, the beginning of summer months will be perfect.
